Default Quick question re: power window retrofit in '97

Today pulled the door harnesses from a '95 Pathfinder. Yard was closing and couldn't get tires removed from some wheels I wanted to buy by the time I was done digging, so I stashed my parts and am going in the morning to buy everything. What I need to know is if the '97 truck has the plugs for the main harness or I need to pull more wiring out of the Pathfinder. Normally I'd dig in my truck to find out, but like mentioned I'm going early and probably won't have time to play with my truck to see if they're in there.

Thanks!

Dig under the dash in the donor Pathy and pull the mating plugs and several inches of harness for those door harnesses. Will make retrofitting items from those door harnesses much easier.
BTW, if you plan on adding power locks at a later time, go ahead and get the actuators and the door latches. The latches are different from the non-power ones.

Thanks a lot, Midnight.

I pulled PL actuators and PW motors a while back with plans to buy brand new PW regulators. Good to know about the latches. Really appreciate it.

Complete regulators with new motors run about $144 each at Napa.

Did you get the PW amplifier and its associated harness?

I priced out the PW regulators sans motors at about $50 Autozone with lifetime warranty. I have motors already. The yard here wants about $25 for a regulator w/o motor so I'd rather just buy those new.

I got the PW amp but didn't cut harnesses because I didn't know if I'd need it before asking you guys or looking into my truck for them to plug n play.

Have you noticed an 8 wire plug under the drivers seat? That's the OE location for that amplifier.

Oh shit, glad you second guessed me. I thought I read here on the IN it was in driver kick. Pulled a little Jideco box with 8pin harness. Here's a pic.

That little box has many different mounting locations - under seat, in kick panel, hidden all the way in the back on the Pathys...

Okay good to know.

Not driving any more, and I was actually able to dig around in my truck tonight. These plugs were behind the driver kick panel.

One other thing is the key/light reminder is where the PW amp was in the Pathy, so I gotta stick it somewhere in there.

Oh yeah, one other thing: I bought some power vent window motors from a Euro E46 for the KC rear windows which I plan to get working eventually... eventually. Need to get this front shit done first. Been had these plans way too long.
