Hi Jim,
I would think that the front fenders (Wings) could swap from one truck to the next, so you should be just fine if you want to swap on the other style fender with the body line that carries through the wheel arch, but be sure that you get the 4wd style fender because the extra space will match what you have now better than the2wd style fender would(my opinion).I don't remember seeing that style fender you sow in your photo here in the states.. I do remember seeing them on the other side of the pond, they are nice.

No the above advice is incorrect. Look at my truck I have the same style fenders as you, and I have tried to put in the other ones, trust me they don't fit. I can't remember exactly how or why, but they didn't. Just ask your seller what type they are by describing exactly your fender and go from there. Don't trust pics, as they often post the more modern American style fender being ignorant.

BTW, the style we have was used on earlier d21's and some later in countries basically other than the USA.

And, another thing, unless u don't really care, try to get oem panels as they were made from good steel and are better quality.

Oh, and, have u considered just panel beating them? I couldn't fix mine as it had been hit by 4 cows, and 5 kangaroos in total

My truck is a 4/86 truck built in Japan. Its within the first 5-6 months of production. Has the big american style fenders. Pretty sure those fenders you guys have is what we would call "euro" being a foreign spec.

I think it just came down to styling. Americans always get different stuff.

Than the Euro stuff....have to search Euro sources for some parts. Just some, and mostly body stuff. Running gear all pretty close.

Wings = fenders. I must have read that first post 3 times while studying that picture before I figured that out. I should have just read the 2nd post first.

The bed looks a little like the 720 style. Perhaps the fenders a variation of those, too.

No, it isn't 100% the same. I had to go searching to see they are different.
