Default calling nissan gurus

I have recently acquired a 1990 nissan hb with a ka24 motor and a 5 speed tranny if that matters problem I am having is this the truck will not crank by the key if you turn the key on the lights on the dash come on and all but when u try and crank it over it clicks the far left relay above the fuse box but no crank, but I can turn key to on position and then go out under hood and jump the black with yellow stripe wire near battery and it will crank I am so frustrated I worked on it for a while tonight when I finally had to say screw it and come in any ideas or suggestions would greatly appreciated also headlights and parking lights do not work either rest are fine blinkers brake etc

Well did you replace the relay? Id replace that then if that doesnt work trace it from there to see where it goes.

Make sure the switch is being pushed on the clutch pedal when you push it in. Mine got outta wack on time and had me chasing the relay
