my money is on a broken spring in the hub. the retaining metal let go and it spat out a spring between the pressure plate and the disc. i had this exact thing happen to me on another car and it behaved exactly like this for ages until i pulled the trans.



If this is the case, i presume the master bypasses at a super high pressure level. This would be why the engagement point of your left foot is wandering about.

Engagement point is no longer wandering, its basically gone. Did a partial bleed until the nipple stripped (plastic POS) which helped a tiny bit, I was able to get the car into gear once more but it went away after a couple clutch presses.

The shop basically told me they have no idea what's up. They said other than the engagement point is really low it feels like a super healthy clutch to them.



It's coming home tomorrow. Gonna see if there is any adjustments. If not or that doesn't work I'm going to replace the master and slave.
