Was looking at the paint can to see how long I should wait before sanding it and realized it was not primer but it was grey high gloss ! I used this paint when I painted the Xterra roof rack I put on my former Pathfinder, Oops !

Fitted small blind-spot mirrors on the lower corners of my truck mirrors. LOL not much, I know. But the bed and canopy will soon be stuffed to the gills for the eclipse campout in eastern Oregon. No more looking through the canopy side windows for a motorcycle in the blind spot. I used rubber cement to secure the little mirrors, so I can remove them later easily if I want.

I'm happy with the current condition of the truck. It starts quickly, runs smooth, and shifts even smoother. No smoking, no knocking, no leaks. Been picking away at the repairs, fluid changes, electrical upgrades, and other little mods since January. Lil' Nissan is ready to do the job. Seven people following me into the wilderness are counting on it. I'm setting up the campsite and gear days in advance.

Finally a year and a half after starting the search, I have received my grille, headlights, and corner lights for my front end conversion. Hopefully this is the start of something really good! Now I just need to find a bumper option because the stock one won't fit anymore.

Yeowza! That's HUGE!

Below, I have appended the letter 'h' between the asterisk (*) and the extension ".jpg" to get a smaller pic.

That needs one of those nice steel front bumpers. Would look real nice with that style.

That's what I want but unfortunately there is only one aftermarket off-road bumper for the D21 offered in the states (ARB), and I think it's ugly as hell. Also, I don't have the ability to make one myself. My idea is to get a nice off-road bumper that's made for a toyota and modify it to fit. People do it with the OEM Toyota bumpers on their minis all the time, I figure it should also work with aftermarket bumpers. I'm thinking something like this:
