Nah...it should work fine for you. I checked it Amazon too, using your parameters and engine size.

And brother...it's a good thing it DOES, cause that old fuel pump looks like shit.

My guess is that water condensation was a frequent visitor to your gas tank. Sometimes this can be caused by poorly-transported ethanol-added fuel, or an owner who liked to run on the almost-empty edge a lot of the time.
