After reading the sticky on disabling the clutch damper and sleeping on the quirk over night I have another question. If the rubber internals of this damper are indeed wearing out after a measly 304,000 miles, could pieces of this rubber restrict the flow of hydraulic fluid until pressure builds up to a critical/violent release point? Dang, these modern, complicated vehicles are a pain....
