The computer can be reset using the manual code toggle switch. I am sure that even if you didn't do anything, the computer will reset automatically, just like OBD2.

It is an interference engine, so there is a definite chance of damage to the valves (they get bent).

I would pull the head off and assess the damage, doubt there is any significant piston damage...
