Your call. It would bother me knowing it was wrong. But as long as the plugs are firing in the right order and at 10° btdc it will work.

Make sure there’s no corrosion under the rotor....

Make sure there’s no corrosion under the rotor. Check the timing, it should be 10° BTDC. Make sure the connectors on the distributor are connected well.

Welcome to infamous Nissan! If you don’t have proof of when the timing belt was last replaced it’s best to assume it’s time to replace it.

FYI, the 3 piece bumper used from 93-95 and the one piece from 96-97 are interchangeable. Either way I’d get the one piece, it looks cleaner.

It’s likely hydraulic. Check the fluid level. Make sure the master cylinder isn’t leaking into the cab above the clutch pedal. Check the slave cylinder and damper for leaks.

Lift the frame of the truck until the tire clears...

Lift the frame of the truck until the tire clears and put it on jack stands. Remove the U-bolts. Lift axle with jack and either put a jack stand under it or just leave it on the jack. Then finish up...
