Not necessarily, the last time I did my black truck I didnt take the door card off. But then again, Ive done this on many many cars before so I guess that helps.

Yes, I think removing the door panel is beneficial. But I do not personally think removing the glass will make the job more efficient. You'll still have to get the glass into the runs in the end.

Rare on ur side of the world, not here. But I agree, those diesels really can't die, and they are worth the cost. They are slow as a one legged dog tho, that's why they went turbo very quickly.
