I failed to mention that it's a '86-1/2 d-21 4x4 5 speed with z24i engine if that makes a lot of difference. I believe the '86 1/2 and 87 z24i are the same,but I may be wrong about later years....

I'l just have to see if there is any difference, All that's necessary is to disconnect one coil connector. If it doesn't run right,I just have to reconnect the coil.
