the lift range is what gets me. yours looks 2wd so it think you wouldnt need as tall of a "block" but for the 4wd, a 10in block of wood seems sketchy.

^^^^^ Correct. theres a ring on the yolk (i think) that causes the shaft itself to be a wee shorter. not sure if the natural freeplay/designed slip will suck that up or not.

if you need a u-bolt literally any napa will have one that will fit, in stock. these arent special in any way. normally they are used in slip-fit exhaust setups.

is the wheel cylinder hooked up to the brake line? if so open the bleeder screw and shove that drum over the shoes. put a paper towell back behind the bleeder screw.
