4th mark from the left to right? The yellow mark is the second one if you're reading left to right. I'll double check it tomorrow.

Ya, the timing was off because it was off a tooth...

Took it apart today and it looks like yours does...

Took it apart today and it looks like yours does in the picture. Only difference is the rotor is pointing towards the suspension but that is where my #1 plug is on the dist.
If it still over heats...

Ok, I found what I believe to be the bleed screw. It says never open when hot. Once it cools down, do I just let it vent for a minute then close it up? With the engine running or off?

I ended up having to put the oil pump and the dist in the freezer for a while. That and a little taparoo from a hammer and they went it. Guess the big temperature difference had an effect somewhat....

I got the shaft slid all the way in, but the pump still stops about 1/4 inch from being tight up against the block. Not sure what I'm missing lol
