I just did a new valve cover gasket and I fixed a stripped valve bolt hole with a 1/4-20 tap and new 1/4-20 bolt.
Anyone know by chance what the torque is on these bolts? I'd like to torque them...

Yes, I've done that with wood many many times but hadn't thought of it for metal with AL foil. The stripped hole I had was way too far gone for foil though.
