just found out the frontier 5 speed trans will...
just found out the frontier 5 speed trans will bolt in. only thing you have to do special i pull the passenger motor mount to clear the cooling fins on the bellhousing.
ahh the things you learm...

fuel pump question
i did the ka swap in my 87 hb 4x4 last winter, and im wondering if needed to swap out to a ka fuel pump. still havin a weird surging between 1800-2000 rpms. it will jerk the truck all over the road...

funky idle issue.....
got an idle issue with my truck... 87 hb 4x4 with a ka swap from a 93 4x4. i swapped in the engine, harness, ecm, blah blah blah. the issue im having is sometimes it wont idle, sometimes it will.......

youll need the steering box for your year, the pressure and return lines, the pump and brackets, and the resivoir. not sure if theres a difference between the 2wd and 4wd, but id stick to the chassis...

pretty sure the 89's came with the z motor, but...
pretty sure the 89's came with the z motor, but they used the same transmissions... i did the z to ka swap and kept my factory trans, but the ka does use a heavier pressure plate for the clutch,btw....
