as long as the new rod is the same length as the old one, set it in the hole on the latch and snap it into the door hndl.. you should be good

old school engines didnt really have the tight...

old school engines didnt really have the tight tolerances as the newer engines.. trying to get brgs for a newer Nissan engine..not fun, the FSM does mention using plastigage but I really didnt read...
