Brazing or soldering would both be acceptable...

Brazing or soldering would both be acceptable methods for joining dissimilar metals. Tin/lead solder just has a lower melting point than the fillers used for brazing.

I’ve never had one leak from that location. Before trying JB weld, I’d attempt to solder or braze that joint to seal it.

I don’t need one myself, but I’d love to see an affordable, attractive intake adapter for the KA. They can source their own tubing and couplers from eBay.
