It should just push down and catch the lip...

It should just push down and catch the lip running aroung the outside of the shifter hole. There should be a reusable zip tie to keep it snug.

Tailgate supports

The old metal ones always rattled. Dorman help part# 38541 tailgate cables fix that problem. Gonna get a washer for the quick disconnect so the gate won't come off so easy.

I drilled a bunch of holes through the old bushings. Knock out the remaining bushing. Makes it a little easier.

I second the oem thermostat. Noticed the truck warms quicker and runs cooler with the oem vs aftermarket one's I've run in the past.

Loosen the bars, make plenty of marks on each end and the adjusters. Put back the same way and you should be fine.
