Try spraying wd40 on them. Then take a paint stick and break it in half. Put one on either side and use a pair of channel locks to squeeze them.

This is why I used seafoam and ran it for a little. I also went to full synthetic with that same thought in mind. It did the usually ticking after oil change and hasn't done it since. Fingers crossed.

I ran some seafoam in the oil for about 20 miles. Changed the oil to full synthetic. I'm hoping to quiet the tapping lifter that comes and goes. So far it's quiet.
