Easier to turbo a carb'd vehicle, also very cheap, but as far as how much boost you can run, you're fairly limited. The kind of setup you're looking for is called a draw-through/suck-through....

Alright, well these fittings I have are DOT air brake fittings for a tractor trailer, measured what OD size they take and its 3/8" so I'm assuming they'll work.

I read somewhere that 1/4" line and 3/8" valves is a good combo, not too fast and not too slow. But that seems pretty small to me so I just wanted bounce the question around here amongst experienced...
