This happened to me and it bugged me for years....

This happened to me and it bugged me for years. on my truck when i removed my driveshaft bolts at the rear axle i belt a dust shield that was rubbing against the pinion of differential

I would check carrier bearing on the driveshaft...

I would check carrier bearing on the driveshaft it will vibrate under load if it is bad

I just found out that first gen xterra shocks...

I just found out that first gen xterra shocks will fit the hardbody. The rear shocks are like an inch longer but I found bilstiens on half off day at my local pick and pull.

I have a set of these and they fit really well on the back especially with the factory flares if you have them. They are also quite large so you can trim them but they are super heavy duty.

I hope someone knows about this because i would be interested as well. You can look for an LSD in pathfinders as well as some XE 4WD trucks. mine is an xe and has a factory limited slip.

turns out my carrier bearing was too big for the factory location. I added 2 washers from my local hardware store to the mount in between the top and bottom parts of the mount and it worked great....
