I just meant that a DE head might not be compatible with an E block since the DE has an extra exhaust valve and the valve reliefs in the pistons may be different. Sorry, I'm a bit out of my element...

I would think so, since the intake swap is a common modification and the E/DE both have two intake valves. Where you might run into trouble is with the pistons...the DE pistons have four valve...

I've had the same experience. I needed a 10mm flare wrench one day and O'Reilly's was right down the street. Needless to say I ended up having to make a new brake line later that day after removing...

Perhaps that wasn't the best example. I had just remembered it from a linguistics course I had to take, kind of in the same vein of soda vs. pop. German is a cool language. I took it for a couple...

On mk4 cars the bottom of the strut is essentially clamped in place by the steering knuckle, in contrast to most other cars where it just bolts on. Once you take the pinch bolt out there's a metal...

I too dig the camper. Something that size is right about perfect. My folks have a 19' trailer and they love it, although it's a bit big for my tastes.
