IMO, just do a PML (poor man's lift). Re-index the T-bars and shackles. All the companies say that their UCAs compensate for the ball joint angle. If they do its only a degree. They really don't...

Should be pretty straight forward. Have a drip pan handy just in case. Trans and tcase are separate but they can feed fluid to each other if the seal between them is gone.

There are heat pads that are attached to the floor for hot spots and noise. Carpet usually does have an insulated backing on them as well.

If you remove the heat pads you will want to replace...

Where the ECU is under the passenger seat there is a ground to the hump that the seat bolts to. That has a tendency to get rusty/corroded.

I would go with what matches the belt. square...

I would go with what matches the belt. square with square and round with round. If you start mixing the 2 it could mess the belt up and the engine.

As bama said, any "HG" axle with a LSD will work. You used to be able to spot them easily when the sticker was still on the axle, usually on the housing.
