small note, thats still considered hydraulic...

small note, thats still considered hydraulic assist steering. electric power steering is like my s2000 where it uses servos to assist and there is no fluid in the rack at all.

thats the problem. you needed a big hammer, not an air hammer. those just dont have the KE or the momentum to do it. even like a 16oz hammer is a little light for this work.

you need a sizeable hammer to knock out a ball joint like that. sometimes putting some tension on the joint with the pickle fork and whacking the a-arm will get it to pop. fussy old gals.
