Heading to dealer to get a new truck, they close at 5 and it’s 4:22 now.
It’s a 2017 frontier king cab desert runner, 28K on It, one owner. Pics to follow |

Nice.
Are the pictures going to be in this thread? |

it's not brand new, new is way out of my range.
I can't post any pics right now, my pic hosting site (tinypic) is not loading. |
Used a different photo site, some pics from the dealer:

Weird thing, the dealer had the color listed as Lava red which according to the brochure I downloaded is the bright red color, this color looks like the Cayenne Red. But Cayenne Red is not listed as an option for the desert runner

Nice truck!
It got me on Nissan's site, using their "build a truck" feature. In the King Cab model with the V6, the only options was Pro 4x. Either the Desert Runner isn't available this year or their website doesn't list everything. What does the Desert Runner package from 2017 have? Beefed up suspension and 2wd? I also noticed on the Nissan "build it" app that the Manual Transmission was not an option with a V6 in the 2wd or 4wd models. I wonder if the world is just getting too lazy to shift gears or if manufacturers are going to transmissions that require more servicing - sort of as a Residual Income feature for them. |
Desert runner package:
16" 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, Bilstein® off-road performance shocks, fog lights, satin chrome grille, body-color rear bumper, 8-way manual driver’s seat, white-faced gauges, Frontier® embroidered cloth seat trim Think the P.O. added the steps and the window visors (which appear to be OEM part) |
