Nissan D21 Consumables on Amazon

Some of these can be hard to find, so I thought I'd link them in here.

Transmission Fluids:
Genuine Nissan Fluid 999MP-AG000P Power Steering Fluid

NGK (3696) BKR6EY Spark Plug - what Nissan puts in the Hardbody.

I run that Red Line 50304 (bought it on Amazon) in my Manual and it works well. Thanks for the links JP.

Sorry JP, I want to add to your thread by posting a link about the quantities suggested for several Nissan models as indicated by the manufacturer

Just wanted to add, these fluids are barely cheaper than what you get at the dealer, and I can have the dealer stuff same day. It's not like you have to change some of these fluids but once every several years, so just stop by the dealer and pick up an OEM oil filter and OEM drain washer while you're there.

This defaulting to Amazon thing is bizarre when you have a network of dealers around the country who sell this same stuff. Sure if you're far from a dealer buy online, but the vast majority of people will be within 5 miles of a dealership.

I know, I'm not an Amazon fanboy like most people. I don't understand the obsession.

Easy on the memes, they're dumb.

A few items come to mind:
  • It's easy to find almost anything on their site.
  • You can bookmark it and (unlike ebay) the bookmark will be good next year.
  • Their prices aren't that bad. Generally, they are lower than anyone else.
  • Unlike going to a supermarket like Walmart, you can read reviews on products before you purchase them.
  • Unlike Walmart, you don't have to deal with any of the people.
I do not just limit myself to auto parts on Amazon, though. I get groceries, office supplies, welding gloves, lawnmower blades, Christmas gifts, doorbell, flash drives, water hose washers, WWII books, flea drops for the dogs or cats, sway bar, egg cooker, headsets, de-icer, scanners, heat shrink butt connectors, shampoo or soap, magazine subscriptions, ... it just goes on and on.

You don't even have to buy it at the time! I've got several lists on Amazon for project I need to do. One is for a new Home Theater PC (HTPC). There I have the motherboard, processor, RAM, and SSD already picked out and waiting for whenever I am ready to build. When a newer version comes out, Amazon drops the price of the existing items (supply and demand) and offers to inform me of the newer product if I decide to go that route.

Don't let a couple of bad experiences from douchebag sellers dictate what Amazon is about. Read the reviews. Buy stuff that only has 4 or better stars and then be sure to read the negative reviews!

As you can see below, I've made 66 orders just in the last 6 months alone, and I can go all the way back to see records of every purchase. Sure, I could keep those receipts myself, but it's good to know Amazon has a copy if I lose mine.

Just FYI, though: I'll probably move all of these "non-related" posts to the trash bin at some point. It's seems off topic, and something a moderator (like me) should be preventing.

I don't know man, you're back and forth.....we really want to love you and all, but sometimes you push us around a bit, lol.

Memes can be dumb, but have their place.....I believe you know why I put them there......
