91 Regular cab - Bagged & Budget v8 Swap

Figured I would throw some pics up of my project. Super slow build, going on 1.5 years or so now - just never any time (having a kid will do that...)

Laying out on a 24-25in tire with room for a bit more. Just looking to build a dependable driver.

Thats it so far. Need to finish burning in some boxing plates and rear bag mounts, sort air managment, relocate the gas tank and deal with the bed. Planning on trying to raise the bed floor and keep everything underneath.

Looks great. Yeah, kids will slow a project down but it'll be bitter sweet when you roll out for the first time...

estetic 05-23-2011 03:34 PM

Thanks! Rolled it out of the garage for the first time since Nov '10 to do some much needed cleaning...

hoping to have the rear on air this weekend.

Anyone have pics of plating the LCA's? I had to clearance them a bit for the subframe/front x-member mounts and wanted to put some metal back in.

Nice build I am gonna keep an eye on this as it might be what I do. I have a question about the c notch will you need to cut the bed to accommodate it? I would like to lower my truck but dont want to cut into the bed.

JunYa 05-31-2011 10:41 PM

I had a 4 in. Drop in the rear and I didn't have to cut the bed.
