Vibration between 40-60 MPH. 4" drop block 6 degree shim.

Having issues with vibration, I've got 2 degree drop blocks with 4 degree shims. Taller end towards back of truck, only went with a total of 6 degrees as it seems like consensus of a what it takes to lower a hardbody this much.

Vibration does not happen upon acceleration, only at specific cruising speed. Is it possible to have too much angle?

I know stacking blocks is a no no but it's temporary until I run air suspension next year. It's a project not a daily. Would like to figure out now while static as this is the driving height I'm after.

I understand where your question is going, but let's check some simple stuff first...

Check the balance of the tires/rims?
Air pressure equal all around?
How old are the tires?
Last rotation?

I'm actually leaning towards it being the tires too, it didn't do this before the drop but the geometry change could have had an adverse effect on them. Tires currently on the truck are old and dry.

Have brand new rims and tires on order, will check back in once those are installed.

i’m about a 7 inch drop in the rear and only have 3 degree iirc 2 inch drop blocks and only get a slight vibration around 80mph. i DID notice that it looks like there’s some fresh transmission fluid leaking from my slip yoke, but i haven’t looked too much into it atm. i also feel like i got lucky on how mine is so far, i’ve heard others have had way more issues so there’s that lol.
