New daily/future project

Picked this up yesterday... Its a 94 Nissan Maxima GXE. 71k original miles and pretty damn clean. I have a previously purchased 2/4 hydraulic setup that will be going on the car. Also some sheetmetal work and some other goodies.... Not going really crazy with this build, just a clean juiced daily.:) I'll post pics when the time comes:nana2:

97_Hrdbdy 02-07-2011 04:59 AM

sounds like an awesome project. my buddy had a maxima with a 3.0 and those cars surprised the hell outta me

JunYa 02-07-2011 06:01 AM

a buddy of mine had one of those.. that sucker would FLY!

Striker 02-07-2011 04:10 PM

Them cars go forever. Mine had over 260k and was still running when I gave it away. Well got put in jail and left it at the tow lot. Was still taking it all over the country mashin on it like 130mph down the hwy for hours at a time. Like I said. They go forever.

Foul_Mouth 02-07-2011 04:18 PM

Should make it a track car instead.

TwistedKreation 02-08-2011 01:08 AM

Dude awesome can't wait to see it juiced!

sittin_so_low 02-12-2011 12:00 AM

dam, cant wait... i bought one ( my first car ) in aug 2000, i still have it, it sits in my moms garage now..put over 110k on it, still runs good, needs a battery lol it was a gxe too, a clean white like yours.. just sayn.. you never really see these looking clean and done up... damm, i want it when you sell it .. keep it clean

asr321 02-13-2011 07:11 AM

i had a white '90 just like that that i just got rid of. ur all saying there reliable but mine was on its 3rd motor with about 100k on it! haha got it for 200$ sold it for 1300 :)

david29 02-13-2011 04:04 PM

I had a 93 back in the day. It was a GXE. I miss the hell out of that car. It had almost 100,000 on it when the bank came a took it. My wife neglected to tel me we were 2 1/2 months behind until it was too late.
I used to roll that car up to 120 mph all the time. Oh what fun it was.

shavedmax 02-16-2011 01:38 AM

i miss mine. thats where it all started for me.

matched your truck too!

BAGLESS (PATRICK) 11-16-2011 03:27 AM

Ended up taking my Maxima to Jeremy @ Tre5 Customs for the install... I have no way of taking install pics, so I stole these from him... Lol. He was hoping on parts being delivered this evening, but no dice... So not really any pics suspension-wise... I will post pics ASAP...

^^^Jeremy was originally going to mount the pumps in the spare tire area, but went with my request of mounting them on the sides of the trunk area... He found out the spare tire area is oddly shaped for mounting the pumps... More pics to come...:nana2:

Pumps all plumbed up... I had Jeremy make me new end plates with his shop insignia... I thought the old ones were ugly...

85nissan720 11-25-2011 02:29 AM

to the OP:

If you want some serious power, swap in a VQ35!!!

BAGLESS (PATRICK) 11-29-2011 03:24 AM

Some updates... BTW- This build can be seen on SSM too... With Jeremy's permission, I'm just copying the pics/info...

^^^Pic of the batteries with solenoids mounted on the sides...

http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...-52-40_297.jpg
^^^Driverside pump mounted... Jeremy ran the hardline/bulkheads this way "to avoid the curvature of the unibody rail under the car."

http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...-52-51_387.jpg
^^^Top view of driverside pump...

http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...-42-53_625.jpg
^^^Front and rear upper mounts... The powerball passes through the upper plate on the front mount... Jeremy will later drill and tap the tops for the grease fittings... Powerball on the rear mount is welded to the bottom of the plate...

drginazzhb92 11-29-2011 09:40 PM

dam if thing comes out half as clean as your HB it will still be one sexy piece of work..keep it up wit the pics

Haha. Thanks bud. And yes...on with the pics...

http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...-56-10_498.jpg
^^^Passenger side pump mounted... The bulkheads did not need to be staggered but Jeremy did it anyways to match the driverside...

http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...-32-30_930.jpg
http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...-32-02_760.jpg
^^^Now the weird rear suspension... Lol. In the first pic, you can see the hub is welded to the strut. The brakes bolt to the hub and strut assembly. Jeremy cut the strut right under the factory coil bucket, allowing the cylinder to go all the way to the bottom of the factory strut. Jeremy drilled a hole on the bottom of the strut for the fittings. He also drilled and welded nuts on the stock rear struts and the ones he made up front. The nuts will receive bolts to act as set screws to try and keep noise to a minimum...

85nissan720 12-01-2011 03:18 AM

Nice update man. Cant wait to see this done!

Ratrod25 12-03-2011 04:33 AM

^^^1st pic on the ground and 2nd locked up... Alignment is next...then cruise it for awhile... Eventually will make it lay lower and start sheetmetal mods in the future... I"ll keep everyone posted...

BAGLESS (PATRICK) 02-02-2013 06:36 PM

http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...psf64984e1.jpg
