I have an 86 hardbody and a 98 frontier both are extended cabs, are there any drastic differences between the two frames like theoretically could I jus bolt an extended cab frontier to my hardbody frameThe reason I ask is I got a kid that's wants to buy my frame once I build mine and he has a 99 frontier and I figured if they do match up I could buy all my materials and air system for how much I'd sell the already bagged frame?!?

well...considerin that 98 is the first year of the fronty...dont seem like there is....but...i dont have one and have never looked underneath one so i dunno... i guess the only thing to do is park em side by side... grab a tape measure and measure and compare body mounts, tranny mounts, engine mounts etc.....

i theory, the hardbody and frontier are very similar, so it might work.

however, you are comparing a 86.5 to a 98. expect some things to be different. there a lot of time between those, and you never exactly know what kind of changes nissan made in that decade. if you were comparing a 96 and a 98, i imagine they'd be a little closer.
