just thought of something. you could always take apart a bullet and make it non fireable.(remove the powder, etc) then chamber it and you can safely aim it wherever and still get the look you want. clearly mark it so you dont put it in with your live rounds.

ya when i do the shot with the .50 my friend loads his own rounds... so i can have him make me 5 bullets that arent live... main issue about a bullet is the primer... a bullet can still go off with no pwder but still have a primer
