for the price its not bad but i would try to bring him down to at least 2k. vtec not kicking is a sign of a screwed up vtec solenoid or he doesnt have the right ecu.

that car never came with vtec....so more than likely its not wired up. or like said be fore he has the wrong computer in it.......be careful on an unfinished swap it could be a nightmare....also find out who did the harness....i know when i had my old hatch i had hasport build my harness....garanteed to work the first time everytime....i just read the ad...its an ls vtec swap so that means it is an integra 1.8 block with a newer 99-up civic 1.6 si head....so chances are the oil line arent there and the machine work wasnt done...and once again be extremely careful on this...frankenstien motors if not done correctly will constantly leak oil...and since the car has a swap rest assure it probably has had the shit ran out of it....

The vtec not working really wont hurt anything. I'm with Slammed97, but those cars can be a wiring nightmare with or without a swap.

well, i met him halfway, to check it out (50 miles and 1 hour). he calls me, tells me he got pulled over on the way, for speeding. so hes gonna be a little late. i tell him ok. text him 15 minutes later to see what time he was gonna get there. he ends up calling me 10 minutes after my text, saying: i got pulled over, and turned off the car. now it wont start. im getting it towed. so i drove back cuz i gotta be to work right now in 30 minutes. he text me and said it was the fuel pump relay. but now, i dont even want to check out the rest of it to be honest. thanks for the help though

good choice....chances are that if a shop did the swap then it would be right(most of the time) ...but more than likely it was done in someones garage at home...and thats the worst swap ever, cuz there will always be something and would end up bein a money pit...

nah, i just passed on the deal. to be honest, i was just trying to trade him for my truck cause i figured i could just sell the car easier then i could sell my truck. people dont seem to be too interested in minis up here. and if they really are interested, they expect it to be show truck, and they dont realize its still in its project stage.
