im trying to restore a old haro bike.
how would i make it look like the orignal paint?
can somebody give me a list of what i need?
i know i need clear coat and paint.. but there has to be something else right?:confused:

Prep work is important, Any and all rust and grease must be gone, and the bike completely stripped down. I've done many a bike in rattle can and them turn out great but the clear coat is the hard part, I used infa red heat lamps to bake the paint and clear but this needs to be done someplace dry and free from drafts or it will take a long time do. I would spend almost 4 days paint and build a bike to get the look I wanted.
I used to piss my mom off by taping up the garage door and running ropes and plastic sheeting all over the place. lol
