Ive bagged 2 of these already not that hard to do you just have to do some trimming in the rear to remove the large bumpstops. Took me a couple of hours tops...getting it to tuck that much wheel in the front isnt going to be easy you will have to modify the upper mounts I am not sure if I still have pics or not I will have to see was just going through deleteing them the other day...
here i found them:
This one is in tx i sold him the parts and walked him through the install...
I used a chapman air strut on it which didnt get much lift I didnt care for it at all...and re6 slams in the back.

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w276/mazscraper/DSCN0960.jpg
Now this next one I did the whole setup although it has been changed since I did it...
It used air cylinder in the front which got it to lay engine k member.
And again in the rear on this one sectioned the lower control arms and used re6's again as you can see it get great lift and drops low...
He claims he is putting a 4 link in the rear and building a new subframe upfront to get a bag in the front and to lower it further. I am not part of that build as I am not really in the business anymore...

do you have pics of build up, I was gonna use re 6 in the rear and universal air strut bag over the factory shock uoi front and i was also gonna raise the upper strut tower 2" to gain a little more drop.

ill have to see Its a really simple build what i did was use ford ranger cups cut them down if you have access to pipe you can build your own cups I cut the upper bumpstop out on top and notch everthing for the airline. to clear. For the front you can do the strut mod I didnt get to involved with that as time was an issue but since it laid the engine mount there was no need to with the cylinder with the cylinder/bag combo it didnt ride to bad. I even tried replacing the steering knuckels with delsol which were shorter and it didnt make a diffrence actually worked against it.Wouldnt raise high enough...I ended up using accord cylinder mounts upfront and redrilling the strut tower took some work mounting them to the lower tube though the bungs didnt fit the strut mount. Had to take pipe that fit the stock knuckle and put the bung in that.
I will see what i have I think on his myspace he has alot of pics with me working on it...

I cant get his myspace to load up to see if the pics are still there...

Oh...i forgot I ordered the universal strut bag at first for the primered one thinking it would be an easy swap. As I used that same bag on a saturn vue I bagged but it is to wide of a bag and will rub the strut tower wall. also for all that work your not going to get much lift or drop out of it.
i found a pic of the strut bag but it doesnt show lift or drop sorry.

yes that would be cts car and that is me working on it....as you can see my frontier is sitting behind it...

I havent had a chance to get online all week i hope those universal strut bags work for you like i said they were to big for his...if your going to modify the strut tower you will have to make it a bit wider so the bag dont rub. also i just didnt think they got alot of lift when i used them on the saturn vue i did

91hrdbdy

1lownismo, the bags did rub, so i am going with cylinders. do you have any pictures of the front cylinders? i've never installed cylinders. did you use the stock suspension forks, or did you make your own?

ill try to type this while the net somewhat works...On Cts car the one I did cylinders on I ended up using honda accord cylider mounts its a 3 bolt setup you will need to find very short faced bolts to fit inbetween the mount and the strut tower I forget where I found them at and still ended up i think having to belt sand a few mm off of them. then yolu have to redrill the upper tower to get the holes to align. now the factory honda bungs wont directly fit into the knuckles you will have to find a pipe that will fit into the knuclkle and then put the hinda bung into that., I cant remember how many inches the spacer was in order for it to work correctly..its a trial and error thing as to much the car wont slam and to little the car wont work...now that i think about it i think that is why i had to space it not for fittement i think it was only lifting 3 inches with the bung in the knuckle...If you send the bags back to universal air they swear they have a kit for the 6 but they probably dont they tried telling me they would be the first to do it I did that car at least 3 years ago and it is still on the road and he drove it from pa to ohio and pa to ny and ny to north carolina without any issues he even was dragging it there is a pic somewhere of that
