well figured i would finally post up pics on it, will be a long build since im learning and stuff. let me know what you guys think, and im goin for a old rat rod type of fel thats why i will keep the rusty look and the welds on the nissan emblem is just tacked on

still gotta figure out how to keep my defrost vents and make a custom center console for the radio and stuff

the dash is out of a 1958 chevrolet apache truck, and i was thinking about painting it gloss but want that old feel of rust and stock paint

worked on my dash a couple hours today, got a good test fit just gotta make some brackets and a way to connect them together

just a thought...maybe flip the nissan aroud so you can read it from the front...looks killer..keeep the pics rolling

i would say fab a piece of metal that comes off the new dash to cover the old vinyl one. The just cut slot in the metal. Other than that it looks good

we going to try and make a panel like that plus make some for the sides, i just got the underside mounting brackets made and bolted it in to make it to the show:nana2:

it will be white/green flake on top flat black on bottom on stock chrome wheels so just look and holla at me

maybe put one or two coats of flat on there and sand back through to the metal in a couple of places?:o jus a thought, i kinda like that look when its done right--which is difficult

i know its not really updates on my dash, but got my old school:rofl2: "short":rofl2: shifter installed and the hood scoop and my pit bike painted white with green flake and green pearl, let me know what you think

the thing on the glove box is a old tube of sunscreen that my dad put there since i dont have the latch, so he made a old school/ratrod fix. And the hood is a full fiberglass one that i traded for a couple years back

havent updated this in forever, got the 55 steering wheel(outta my dads car) mounted and now pulled the dash back out to cut out some side caps and started welding them on just need a new flapwheel disc to smooth it up, let me know what you guys think and sorry for the hugh pics
