so i lowered my truck but it was un-drivable because axle to frame action.....

so im going to c notch it with help from Pacific Coast here on "IN"

to this weekend i tore down

I was able to help Brandon get a start on the C notches today. The truck is in good shape & i think he should sell it to me :D I just PM'd the pics i took today to him so updates soon i guess.

theres an air fuel mixture screw on the passenger side of the carb on the base plate

yes there should be a plug blocking off the adjustment screw pop the plug off and youll see a flat head type adjustment. its on the absolute lowest spot on the carb

just bought one and looking into lowering it but can only go 2" blocks where i am, how much do you reckon you got out of removing the middle leaf???

well a 2 inch block should be fine removing the middle leaf just flattened out the spring so go look at yours and see how bowed it is. some are more worn than others so results will be different. and just imagine your leaf being flat.

the clearance issue was axle to frame, thats why we did the c-notch.

yeah, i saw that but you said it was still rough??? don't know about nissans but i know with the hilux's the driveshaft tends to bang on the gas tank crossmember when they're low enough, just wondered if i had to deal with that (or something similar) as well, or even if they just ride shit low. i know my hilux does.
