Crappy rattle can white primer from autozone. made runs like hell, and was way to thin. I fixed it up with wal-mart rustoleum black primer. Much much better.

It is. This truck has been in over 5 accidents. But still runs great. The one that twisted the frame ever so slightly is when this cavalier drove up underneath the truck, literally the back tires where on the hood of her car. Another thing I have to fix. Gonna be pulling the bed offa it soon.

good luck with the build. if you are going to fix the frame, make sure to have the pro's do it with a frame machine. Better yet all new custom frame :)

I actually put the bug gaurd back on it recently. I don't know why but I like the way they looked on these trucks. Might be cause they are so square.

Like my taillight fuse blew so my tail lights were out, and I knew he was just about to pull me over too so I pulled in a parking lot at Hastings, got out and he made the smart ass comment, "Under construction? Yes sir I did. I also put the 13" daytons on it and the frame sat 3" from the ground. Looked great. She is about to go in my garage once it's cleaned hopefully by this weekend. Then my next big purchase will be a good welder, no harbor freight shit. >_<

Ok well that top pic gives the damage no Justice. The dent was through both body lines the top of the tailgate was cracked and it split down the tailgate, and the surface rust was almost all the way through the sheet metal.

Yea yea i kinda took the idea from Skrap in Flesh's(and i believe ice did the work on his?) Cowl Panel, but the ssan in nissan on my old tailgate was rusted so i couldnt use the whole name. But i tell people when they ask I got the idea from members here on this site all the time. They always ask what does the IN stand for and I say, Infamous Nissan. :D

Pulled the tank and Cross member. Bought a bag on bar 4-link from Unusual Fabrication, and im guessing it should be in next week. Hopefully Monday I will have the leaves off(Bent U-bolts, Ewwww) and everything moved out of the way, along as getting my bars mounted, and c-notches installed. Mr. Bullock is an instructor here at NADC and he says he is gonna help me with the install, so That just gives me more re-assurance.

New project title.

I have my reasons.
First off it started with my instructor giving up and not helping me like he said he would, then come to find out he was talking shit about me. so fuck him. :D

Then, I go and order me some metal for a crossmember, get it in, and i get the metal cut up for the notch. Got cut wrong so my notch was too short. Fuuuuu

And now noticing it was too short I get some 2x3 and have to weld it onto the bottom of the cross memeber, bot it looks like even more turd than it did(See pic below.)

And to top it off I get my 4link in, start cutting the tubes to the right size, marked the threaded end of one of my upper bars so I don't cut it. Well being in a hurry to get out of the high-performance shop, and missing a contact in my left eye, and my eyes being sore from the contacts so ive been wearing sunglasses for the last week. I cut off ALL of my threads on one of my upper bars.:bang::bang::bang::bang:

But the only shred of hope I got at this moment is I got my lower bars in, and seeing how i fucked up my uppers, I was thinking about making a triangulated 3 link now. What do you guys think?

Definitely not finished. Threw some rattle can on it to keep it from rusting so much. But everything works fine. Gonna test drive it some on monday. Make sure everything is working right, throw some rattle can primer on it. Park it when i get it home and start looking for a decen job and start my tools build up so I can work on her in my spare time.
