i know im asking a question about a honda on here but i wasnt able to get my 240 so i settled for a crx. the question i have is which front end swap do you guys think will be the coolest to do. i know there is a lot of work involed in both and i am totally commited to doing one of these i just dont know which one to do. thanks in advance for all of your opinions. oh and dave if you look at this and you can get me one of the front ends for cheap froms your buddys salvage yard hit me up.

I like the green one. I'm on my phone though and can't see too well. What front end is that?

I like the civic front end never seen that done before. It makes the crx look like my hatch.

stay with astock front end on the crx. If it was a civic I'd do a swap but the crx looks great with a minor kit on it and slammed.

thanks guys. yeah the green one is the 92-95 eg civic and the silver one is a 90-93 dc integra. if i get the teg it will come with a running b18 5spd that i can swap in to my rex and the civic will come with the direct replacement d15.

wow dude I was gonna say leave the rex alone, they look good with the stock front end with just a lip, but you need new doors, hood, fenders, and bumper anyways so go with the teggy swap, I like the look of the eg front end better, but if the teggy comes with the B18 then do it, even if it just comes with he ls motor go for it.

yea but unless you build the motor you dont wanna boost a stck honda motor unless uu plan to run low boost, a buddy of mine just boosted a ls vtec with 8lbs and blew his motor

yeah i was planning on building it up a little later with some low compression pistons, stronger rods, cam, crank, pretty much everything internal.

ok so ive got a little bit done to the car but no pics. the entire front end is pulled off in anticipation for being sold. i figured it would save me time doing it now then later when someone was standing there waiting so yeah. i will try to get pics up. the front is totally fucked. it looks like it ws hit in the pass. side fender and bent the piece that it bolts to. thats probably why it wouldnt line up right. the radiator support is also crushed in a little on the passenger side so ive got quite a bit of work ahead of me as far as the front end goes. the doors and body will be getting sand blasted soon so i can see how much bondo there actually is on the car and how bad the body is.

I am personally a fan of the first gen teggy with the flip up lights and torsion suspension, much more agile and a lil smaller than my 98 teg, keep up updated as to which front end you go with.

if i dont do the teg or eg swap then i will probably fix the front damage and put the old front end on. im really hoping i can do either one though

put the si-r front on. and put a k-series motor in there. can get low 11s with an all motor k in a gutted rex. you can run a boosted vtec motor. my boy had a b16 with a gt30 making 400 on all stock internals just cams and a very good tune.

Looks like you might want to piece that one togather and sell it then find one in better shape
