Keep it up man!
Just a lil' info that you may not be aware of. Instead of the door trim on the grille and $5 you could have spent $2.50 for some finger nail pollish remover and a little elbow grease and your whole grille could be chrome. Just a thought.
nissan1995
11-01-2008, 11:25 PM
how u do that?
i wanna do the vertical bars too
HybridImages
11-01-2008, 11:46 PM
Fingernail polish remover contains Acetone, but it's not pure so it takes a little elbow grease...Just saturate a rag press it against the black for a few and scrub...the black will come off leaving chrome.
a few bucks and some old rags + time and work = a solid chrome factory grill
layinframe
11-02-2008, 12:16 AM
That works on a stock black factory grille?

11-02-2008, 03:59 AM
would takin out the torsion bars be dangerous??
Swschz
11-02-2008, 04:06 AM
thats what i was thinking...why take them out?
why cant you just crank them down...coz you now have no suspenion at all....its going to bounce like a mofo...pretty dangerous if you ask me
laynframe4u- no it doesnt...its only on hte chrome grills that they spray black paint over the chrome....the factory black grills are all black and only black, sorry bro

11-12-2008, 05:48 AM
you should save for a set of 2" drop spindles, i have them on my HB right now. before i rasied it to throw my winters on it, my front crossmember was 3" off the ground, and with the spindles, and T bars at about half, i had just under 3" of travel before i hit the bump stops(or the ground, whichever came first lol), and i was almost tucking tire with 40 series rubber on 16" rims. with your setup, if you got drop spindles, you could run your 18's, have more travel with a smoother ride, and still sit low
