installing headers

hey everybody im kinda new to this forum but i have a question? i just recently bought a pacesetter header(long tube) and seems like it wont fit in my 720 and my question is? the hardbody z24 (pacesetter) headers are compatible with the 720 z24

i had to notch my motor mount a lil to get it to fit and i cap the egr hole. i made me exhaust after tbe header so i dont know how well it mates with tbe factory exhaust

I dono about the pacesetter but i have a doug thorley long tube and the only prob i had was the egr not matchin up.. I had to put the egr tube on the header then bolt the header up.. And my hangs below my frame :jerk: which sucks ass! do you have any pics of your homewrecker?

On my Dough Thorleys I had a hard time getting the headers in past the torsion bar and tranny. Also had to redo the exhaust since the flange was lower and at a different angle. The EGR was tricky but no problems here.

i can post pics when i get home. I forgot i dont have torshon bars any more either. The pace seter also hangs below the frame but if you just make it 90 right after it slips on then you will be ok
