4 cyl tranny on a 6

aight i got a 4 cylinder manual tranny hardbody and next month im gettin a 6 cyl AUTOMATIC hardbody. im gonna pretty much tear it apart and us a lot of the pannels and bumper, doors, etc. on my 4 banger but the question i have is could a manual transmission from a 4 cylinder hardbody be put on the six cyl cuz i wanna swap the engine but like i said the other one im gettin is automaic and i would rather keep the maual.

No the KA transmission will not work on a VG and vica versa.

It will if you get a front case from a 1984-89 300zx n/a(non turbo) 5 speed. These are really common in junkyards, then you can take the 4cyl bellhousing and put it on the zx tranny and sell it off to someone who owns a 240sx. peace.
