Exhaust for 2nd gen frontiers

Any body changed out mufflers or whole exhaust on the new frontiers. just wanting any suggestions on what mufflers sound the best or whatever. any info appreciated..

ive heard the banks and the nismo exhausts on the 05+ v6's, its not bad. but would be better if it was a lil deeper

The banks monster is cool; I just dont care for how is goes big on the welded-on tip.
My JBAs are showing the wear...and are less than three years old/15kmiles. The chrome tip is spotting a bit.... I like the sound-a nice rumble at idle, not farty.

Just swapped out my muffler this past weekend. Tech had to cut a piece of pipe to add on since the new muffler is shorter then stock. Then I asked to cut off the tip and add a nicer, longer chrome piece. Sucks that it's still on stock pipes but at least now it actually sounds like a truck. I'm actually really happy with it because the truck starts up cleaner, moderate rumble at idle, and accelerates a lot cleaner. Feels like a different truck. It's surprising to hear how often I accelerate it now, LOL. I couldn't hear/or feel that before. Something must have been up with my stock muffler because it's made a significant change on my truck and all I did was swap out the muffler for now. Will do a full swap of the entire thing when I have some other mods taken care of.

Jardine exhaust sounds nice to me. I like the borlas on the Titans. Haven't really decided yet, but I bought the Flowmaster Super44.. it's actually quite loud. Yet not ricey. :D

are flow masters any good for our trucks? And what about the Dyno max? I am looking to get an exhaust for some sound upgrade... make it sound ruffer let me know if you all know something .

yeah im pretty much in the same boat as lowenuff on this one i just want something for our tuck that does not sound ricey

im running stock exhaust....up until you get to the back of the cab that is...nothing past the cat remains, all rusted out and was yanked out LOL

and i drive a D21...LOL, oh well

the best exhaust for these trucks is a custom dual set up. 2.25 pipe from the cats threw and x pipe to a dual in dual out muffler threw a set of tips, flowmasters are meh on these truck

that was my truck, though I would do a custom Y pipe and custom cat back personally the Y pipe is the worst part of the factory system

mine has the stock pipe with a flowmaster single in with dual outs with turn downs before the axle. Doesnt sound to bad but i think i either want to a resonator before the muffler or run a different muffler. Little more drone then i want.
