nissan and xe emblem?

ive been thinkin bout removin the frontier off of the tailgate where i was told u can jus take a hairdryer and heat and remove the letters with dental floss. my question is how do u remove the plastic/gel xe emblem on the side located on the fender without damagin the paint? also, in the nissan emblem on the hood clipped in? because on my 94' hb i removed it and it was clipped in and when removed two holes were exposed! can yall help me out! thanks!

the first day i got my frontier i removed my emblems front and back...
this took about half an hour.....just use some fishing string..and some gloves, cuz that shit will cut your hands up.. n to take out the gel that holds it up, use "GOOFOFF" which is a solution that helps take off any gunk on painted surfaces without fukin up the paint n what not...for the front emblem, i did the same thing, but the only thing is that you might have 2 little indents( not holes like the HB's...cuz i did that too with my old truck lol..) but it aint that noticeable...

hope this helped you out a bit...you can buy goof off from walmart! or any hobby store...

I use a thin metal putty knife..if you put tape around the edges and be careful youll be fine. For the glue, I use some stuff called Super Tech Solve. If I remember right Winzer makes it. It works great for the residue left over.

first of all the hood emblem has two holes behind it with sticky shit

second the tailgate letters are held on with sticky shit

and third the xe oval emblems are held on with sticky shit and have two holes behind them so if you stick your hand up there you will feel them. you can stick something through there and push the oval emblem enough to pull it off.
