i think its the heater core behind it that may be keeping it in. there also should be screws under it attatched to the floor or firewall i cant remember.

just remember, some things dont have to come out. you can always work around them if they arent directly in the way.

just remember that when you start cutting and welding that you have to keep some things cool otherwise you might melt something....hahahaha, i did that on my firewall, but lucky for me it was just my gauge airlines...hahahahaha,

Just get the BFH and get it out of the way jk. Check and make sure there are no heater or ac lines going to it you can work around it but its so much easier and convienent when its out of the way. Just my .02

what are you welding with? and im not trying to be a dick or anything but it dosnet look like the weld has any penetration at all

sdm5008
02-06-2011, 04:24 PM
I knew someone was gonna bring that up lol... im not real confident in my welding area... I can make it look pretty but it don't look strong enough imo .. so I went over each weld a few more time... cause I don't want em t break while driving. and im using flux so that don't really help cosmeticly. I still gotta take the lca off and clean em up and paint em so don't worry im not leaving them like that
