i didn't realize it til i got out of my gf's '07 envoy when my foot was stuck to the carpet. anybody kno a cheap way to get it out???

you could also use an ice cube to get it cold and less pliable and tear it apart lil by lil

I'd try running alcohol. Try it on a spot not very visible to make sure it don't discolor the carpet. Wd 40 will make it stink in there an leave a bad resinue peplly

this is the best way. you have to get it as cold as you can and the gum will get hard and brake apart. try to put a zip lock bag of ice on it for 15 to 20 min

use peanutbutter to take out the gum n then use some laundry detergent or a carpet cleaner to get rid of the peanutbutter.. WORKS EVERYTIME!

well i remember when i was a lil kid, my mom used to use it for my sisters hair when she got gum stuck on it...getting gum on hair is pretty much the same as getting it on carpet...

supposedly the oils in the pb loosen it up so it pulls out, i've never had luck with that technique cept with getting gum out of my nephews hair.

Theres a carpet cleaner called "Tuff Stuff" that comes in a spray can. I haven't come across anything it cant get out.

Peanut Butter can leave a stain.. the oils in it.

Goo Gone works and smells citric fresh!

ICE is the best option.. might take a little more patience then the others mentioned, but it'll get it all off, with no scent, or stain. :)

^^i say go with that one, get some dust off and just spray it upside down, just dont spray it on urself, itll give u like instant frostbite
