I used this idea when I did the frame curves on the DualYa project, and I'm now offering them as a standard part as I've had a few inquiries to make them since the MT marketplace showed a similar product.
I am offering these in 2 x 3 and 2 x 4 in 3/16 material. Horizontal and Vertical curves are available.

These provide a clean, mandrel bent look once you have welded and ground them smooth.
I also recommend running shear gussets when joining these to your 2 x 3 or 2 x 4 frame sections. I like to do internal gussets to keep the smooth look on the outside. I can add holes to these for plug welding gussets at no extra charge, since everything I do is cut to order.
Of course I sell the shear gussets as well.
