I have been looking for a nice Mitsubishi Mighty Max for a long time and haven't found one but instead came across a Hardbody. I am just waiting for the guy to get the title in and its mine, and will be my first. I hope to find some good stuff on this site to help me out along the way. I like what I see on here so far. Oh and the truck is bagged and shaved waiting on some paint and interior work.

Picked it up yesterday and love it so far. It needs work in a lot of little areas but that is why I bought it. I needed a project since I tore up my race truck and the track I race at is closing down. Now there are things I love about the truck and some I just hate. I like the wheels, I think the Lincoln wheels are hard to find on these trucks. I like how it is bagged but I think the angles look a little weird for me on the triangular part of the 4 link, but I am new at this so do not really know, just appears off to me because its not very triangularly. It has tiny mirrors that look great but are hard to see out of. The engine and transmission work awesome. I really like that it is shaved though it needs a little body work to be perfect. Now the things I dont like, I do not like the metal over the taillights and have already removed them. I like that better. I do not like how everything is shaved then they put hood pins on it, kinda offsets the shaved look some. The interior is missing some pieces which is no big deal but would have been nice to have. The last thing is I absolutely have to redo most of the wiring on the truck. I have already had to replace a few wires because my compressor stopped working on the way home and the door poppers didn't work about 20 minutes ago. I just have to replace a old wire and they work good as new. This should be a fun project, at least until I am tired of it and ready to completely build my own.

looks like a good start, i myself did the same thing with buying a truck that had already been bagged. you will end up finding a ton of stuff that was either done half assed or needs to be replaced. you will have a ton of fun though. congrats and welcome

exactly! that is what i did. i found some pics of my truck from a previous owner (my truck is the biggest hb whore ever) and it looked pretty clean. but he sold it, then that owner did nothing but destroy the bitch. so i have been spending the past nine months changing things to my likeing. but to some it all up, if you buy something partly finished you can always just redo everything.
