My truck is stuttering in 1st and 2nd gear. It's as if the engine isn't getting enough fuel. It doesn't do it in any other gears, also if I rev it up it wont either. All the ignition components and fuel filter are new. I also recently replaced the negative battery cable. The new cable is around a foot and a half longer than the original. But, I doubt that is what is causing the problem.
I spoke with a guy at AutoZone. He said, "It could be my accelerator pump in my carburetor." And the problem started when it started getting cold here. And I only have the problem when the motor is cold. Thank you for reading my book and thank you in advance for any help.

is it lowered? if so check your carrier bearing. it could be totally gone like mine is and i get driveshaft vibration in 1st and second till about 20 or 25 mph usually and it feels exactly like your describing. get down and try to wiggle your driveshaft side to side. if it moves your carrier bearing is junk.
