hey just wondering what the difference is... or how i can tell. i have an 85 king cab 4x4 and only the secondary jet works. the primary doesn't spray gas at all so i figured, why not upgrade to a weber and fix my problems while adding performance. here's my 2 options...

The difference is one is a DGV and the other is a DGEV.. It has something to do with the choke set up.. I have a DGEV and it has an alectric choke..

an electric choke self monitors.. it runs off the existing choke wiring.
a manual choke just has a cable that you run out somewhere to your dash and you are controling the choke plates
it's up to you. i'm happy with my electric choke
i just did my swap on my 86 king cab and ran a 32/36 dgev
