My 02' fronty keeps making this squeek noise every time i turn it on. I tried putting some belt dressing many times, but after a couple days the squeek would always come back. I just want this damn noise to be vanished away cuz everywhere i go, n turn on my truck, everyone always turns n looks at me like my trucks gonna break . Any advice would be helpful. THANKS

check your belts. belt dressing does nothing if a belt is going bad. and start looking at your idler pulley and tensioner. if it continues to do it... that means something is actually wrong.

mine does the same thing with new belts on.could be my p/s fluid leaking on the belt?it makes the sound right when i crank it up.and only lasts a few seconds.then sometimes it wont squeal.

Found the solution for the squeek. My alternator belt was loose. all i needed to do was tighten one bolt that made the tension of the belt stronger. it looked like a sidewards T bar with two bolts connected to a plate. ill try get a pic of it when i have time just in case anyone else has the same problem

I think its a Frontier problem. belts are very noisy. you have to like find the sweet spot for how tight to tighten your tensioners to. Keep an eye on idler pulleys too. Bearing went out in mine and that bitch would squeal like a stuck pig at high rpms and at startup.
